Glue Eraser

A bookbinder's Glue Eraser! These are great for removing PVA glue from book cloth or leather. It can also be used for removing sticky tape residue.

Notes about using a Glue Eraser on book cloth:

If you let the glue dry first, this Glue Eraser is usually very effective. However, if the glue has been really worked into the fibres of the fabric or if you've tried to remove the glue with water first, then the Glue Eraser won't be very helpful. So, just be patient and let the glue dry. Then rub the dried glue gently with the eraser and it should pick it off the cloth (rub only in one direction, not back and forth). No guarantees, of course. It takes some practice to know when and how to use it most effectively.
